Avoid Knights of the Lion imo unless you want specifically 2h sword wielding knights. Knighthood Order Cavalry = Shadow Legion/Eventide. It seems to be easier to train up a larger number of Pendor Knights quickly in my experience. Ravenstern Knights being only a small bit behind these. Noble Cavalry = Pendor Knights or Sarleon Knights.

These guys are GOOD, and I try to use them as my entire archery force once I'm able to get an adequate supply of nobles to do so since they hardly ever die. Very effective shock infantry, but your noble recruit supply is limited. Noble Infantry = Only non-order option here are Pendor Foot Knights, and they are quite good, but they die a bit too much for my liking to invest in (infantry suffer heavy losses normally and they frequently do not have shields but have polearms or 2h weapons instead though not always). Pendor Mounted Men-At-Arms and Lancers are pretty cost effective and decent as well. Ravenstern Mounted Rangers aren't bad horse archers but you don't get much in the way of melee cav with them. Pendor Armored Bowmen for cost effective garrisons.Ĭommon Cavalry = None are particularly great tbh, but I'd say D'Shar have the best overall cavalry setup for commoners. Some are strong vs cav while others are for fighting infantry.Ĭommon Infantry = Fierdsvain Huscarls for fighting archers or infantry, Sarleon Halberdiers for fighting cavalry, Pendor Men At Arms for garrisons due to cost efficiency and less of a need for shields while having incredible strength in a melee grinder.Ĭommon Archers = Ravenstern Rangers for archers, Empire Armored Crossbows for crossbows depending on which type of ranged weapon you want to use for general purpose. Some are better on attack, others in garrisons, others still in field battles. Nothing honestly is completely straight forward the best, depends on the situation.
